RSPCA advice on keeping chickens
NB: We are not RSPCA approved because we don't beak trim our chickens. We understand the RSPCA advocate it as the lesser of two evils with regards to cannibalism outbreaks in large commercial systems.
We don't have that problem here and have seen very malformed beaks as a result of trimming so just don't do it.
